Juni er måneden hvor fagfolk innenfor kroppsøvingsfeltet samles på Norges Idrettshøgskole for å få innsikt i hvor forskningsfeltet beveger seg. I år som tidligere år, er det mange spennende tematikker på programmet, alt fra dans, friluftsliv, profesjonsetikk, lærerutdanning, funksjonsnedsettelse til idrettsfag. Detaljert program finner du her. Det er spennende tider for norsk skole og kroppsøvingsfaget, i forbindelse med utvikling av ny læreplan. På konferansen gleder vi oss spesielt til å høre Sten Ludvigsen fortelle om læring i framtidas skole: selvregulering og faglig utvikling. Hilde Schjerven har ledet arbeidet med å utvikle kjerneelementer i kroppsøvingsfaget, og vil gi oss innsikt i dette arbeidet, mens Inger Åshild By skal fortelle om kroppsøvingslærerutdanningen i dag og i morgen. I to hele dager vil lærere, lærerutdannere og forskere være samlet for faglig utveksling og sosialt samvær.
Vår forskergruppe skal også bidra til programmet. Øyvind Standal og Kjersti Mordal Moen vil informere om et spesialnummer om kroppsøving i Journal for Research in Arts and Sports Education, der de er gjesteredaktører. Videre vil Knut Westlie og Kjersti Mordal Moen holde et innlegg hvor de deler erfaringer fra den nasjonale kartleggingsstudien i kroppsøving. Lars Bjørke og Kjersti Mordal Moen vil på fredagen presentere fra et aksjonsforskningsprosjekt i kroppsøving på barnetrinnet.
Metodekonferanse ved HINN i oktober
I tillegg til denne årlige vårkonferansen ved NIH, står vi i forskergruppa Teaching and Learning in Physical Education på trappene med en metodekonferanse for kroppsøvingsforskning 18.-19. oktober 2018.
Årets konferanse vil ha fokus på aksjonsforskning som forskningstilnærming. Vi har vært så heldige å få Dr. Ashley Casey fra University of Loughborough til å være årets hovedtaler. Ashley har lang erfaring med aksjonsforskning, både som lærer på ungdomstrinnet, og som lærerutdanner. Han vil ta for seg spørsmål omkring aksjonsforskning sin posisjon i internasjonal kroppsøvingsforskning, samt hvilke muligheter aksjonsforskning åpner for. Han vil også belyse hva som kjenner god aksjonsforskning fra sitt perspektiv. I tillegg vil det bli presentert ulike aksjonsforskningprosjekter, både fra Ashley og andre.
